Tracey Campbell visits Ghana 6th November 2011 |

| We have arrived safely after our 1.30am
start till our bedtime at 11pm! The next morning we started our journey from Accra to Kumasi which should have taken us 6 hours but actually took 11 hours. Unfortunately the coach had a problem with its brakes but our driver William stopped at the roadside and asked a mechanic to help! It took him 2 hours to repair using rocks and a large metal pole to remove the wheel, replace the brake disc and all this happened whilst we stayed in the coach with the luggage and the air conditioning on! We finally arrived at 8pm, had quick snack and meeting before bed! The pictures above are of our journey, the coach and us at our hotel. |
